1% for the Planet Policy (RevSend)
Effective Date: January 2024
RevSend supports environmental giving and responsible business practices. As part of this commitment, RevSend contributes 1% of eligible revenue to environmental causes, aligned with the principles of 1% for the Planet.
What we commit to
• Contribution level: We aim to donate 1% of eligible revenue annually to qualified environmental nonprofits.
• Where funds go: Contributions support organizations focused on conservation, climate resilience, waste reduction, environmental justice, and related outcomes.
• How we choose partners: We prioritize credible, impact-driven nonprofits and may include both national and local organizations.
• Transparency: We will maintain internal records of contributions and may share summary updates periodically.
Definitions and notes
• Eligible revenue: Revenue categories included in the 1% calculation may vary based on business model changes, returns, refunds, pass-through costs, and other adjustments. RevSend may refine this definition over time to keep the policy practical and consistent.
• Method of contribution: Donations may be made directly to nonprofits or through vetted giving platforms and partner programs.
